You don't need a huge marketing budget or an endless SEO programme to make progress.
I help small businesses work out what will make the biggest difference, then focus on practical improvements that fit the website, the business and the resources available.
That might mean fixing technical issues, improving important service pages, strengthening local visibility, setting up better tracking or simply working out what should be prioritised first.
Dave has helped my company to rank higher organically in most search engines.
I am not very clued up on this side of business so he made things easy for me to understand.
He also put me in touch with other avenues for increasing the public awareness of my business.
Dave won't do anything that Google don't like - give him a go.

Small businesses usually need something different from a large agency or enterprise SEO programme.
You may not have an in-house SEO team, a large marketing department or the time to work through a long list of recommendations. What you need is someone who can look at the website, understand the business and tell you what is actually worth doing.
That is how I approach small business SEO consulting.
I work directly with you, keep the recommendations practical and focus on the changes most likely to improve visibility, enquiries and website performance.
There is no account manager, no separate delivery team and no pressure to buy work you do not need.
If something can be fixed simply, I will tell you. If a bigger piece of work is justified, I will explain why.
The aim is not to do every possible SEO task.
The aim is to work out what matters most to your business, what is currently getting in the way and what should be tackled first.
I start by understanding what you do, who you want to reach and how your website currently supports the business.
From there, I look at where the main opportunities or problems are and prioritise the work in a sensible order.
That could mean improving a few important pages, fixing technical issues, strengthening local visibility, reviewing your tracking or helping you understand why the site is not performing as expected.
The focus is always on practical work that can actually be implemented, rather than producing a long list of recommendations that never gets used.
Where possible, I also make sure the right data is available so we can see what is improving and where further work may be worthwhile.
Every small business website is different, but these are some of the areas I am commonly asked to improve.
I’ll make sure Google Analytics tracking is in place so you can see how people are finding and using your site, and whether the work is leading to useful enquiries or sales.
I'll improve the pages that matter most - including titles, headings, structure and content - so they're clearer, better targeted and more useful to both visitors and search engines.
If local search matters to your business, I can set up or improve your Google Business Profile so it gives you a stronger presence across Maps, local results and branded searches.
I can add structured data to help search engines better understand your business, services and location.
I'll check for technical issues that may be holding the site back, including crawling, indexation, mobile usability, broken links and other important problems.
I can improve image handling and address obvious performance issues so the site is faster and smoother for visitors.
I'll make sure your site is connected to the right search tools so we can monitor visibility, identify issues and see how the site is performing over time.
Small businesses do not always need a full agency team or a large monthly SEO retainer.
If your website is relatively small and you have a clear set of priorities, freelance SEO consultancy can be a more flexible way to get experienced support without adding unnecessary layers or cost.
I can help with a one-off project, a specific problem or ongoing support where regular input genuinely makes sense.
Some businesses need help for a short period.
Others want a few hours of support each month.
Some simply get in touch when something changes or they need a second opinion.
The level of support can change as the business changes, so you are not locked into a large programme just because that is how the service is normally packaged.
When the budget is limited, prioritisation matters more, not less.
I focus first on the changes most likely to improve the performance of the website or remove something that is clearly holding it back.
That means separating the things that genuinely matter from lower-priority SEO work that can wait.
For one business, that might mean improving a small number of important service pages.
For another, it might mean fixing a visibility problem, sorting out local search, improving tracking or dealing with a technical issue.
The point is not to spend the budget everywhere.
It is to use the available time and money where it is most likely to make a useful difference.
If I do not think a particular piece of work is worth paying for, I will say so.
Once the main work is complete, I can continue to help if you want ongoing input.
There are no long-term contracts or fixed retainers unless that genuinely suits the work.
Some businesses want regular monthly support, others check in every few months, and some simply get in touch when they need help with a specific issue.
