An audit is useful, but the value comes from actually doing something with it.
Audit & Optimisation is my most hands-on support package, combining ongoing tracking and performance monitoring with regular reviews, prioritisation and practical website improvements.
I can identify new issues, work through existing audit recommendations and implement the changes that are most likely to make a useful difference.
CE Safety, have worked with Dave for 18 months. The quality of the work is brilliant. Dave has carried out most of the technicsl work on the website. The work includes; Audits, AMP implementation, Site speed improvements, Structured data implementation & general improvements across the site - We know have rich snippets picked up by google as a result.
The work has been completed on time, at a fair price (not the silly prices some agencies charge for technical SEO). Dave is probably the best technical person we have worked with, both agency and freelancers. What initially attracted us, was reading his excellent (but not frequent) technical SEO posts on linkedin. What we have learnt along the way, is Dave works with an unusual mix of clients, from vey large to small businesses, and we have benefited from Dave approaching us to suggest things that Dave's other clients have successfully tried.
Daves agency background has helped when working with our digital PR partners. Need to give downsides for balance, but struggling to think of any.
To summarise, using Dave for our technical SEO, is like employing a top digital agency technical department, but at a fraction of the cost and with excellent communication. He works on our technical SEO to a very high standard and works very well in collaboration with other SEO third parties we use for non technical SEO.

This package includes the tracking, reporting and ongoing performance analysis from the lower support levels, with additional time for actively investigating and improving the website.
Support can include:
The work is prioritised around what the website actually needs rather than following the same checklist every month.
You do not need another audit just because the first one produced more recommendations than anyone had time to implement.
I can review an existing audit, work out which issues still matter and start turning the useful recommendations into actual changes.
That might mean implementing technical fixes directly, working through content or internal-linking improvements, or giving your developer clear requirements for work that needs to happen in the codebase.
If you do need a fresh diagnosis first, that is where my separate website SEO audit service fits. This package is primarily about what happens after the issues have been identified.
Websites do not stay still after an audit.
New pages are published, developers make changes, templates evolve, search behaviour shifts and problems that did not exist six months ago can gradually appear.
I carry out regular focused reviews to identify new issues and opportunities rather than repeatedly producing another full audit of everything.
That might involve crawl and indexation checks, reviewing important templates, checking internal links, looking at content performance or investigating something unusual in Search Console or analytics.
This package is designed for businesses that want more than recommendations.
Where the setup allows it, I can make technical SEO, tracking, content and structural changes directly rather than creating another list of tasks for someone else to work through.
That could include fixing metadata or canonical issues, implementing structured data, improving internal links, changing templates, consolidating content, refining tracking or working through priority technical problems.
Where changes need a developer, writer or other specialist, I can define the requirements clearly and review the completed work afterwards.
Not every audit issue deserves fixing just because a crawler has flagged it.
I prioritise the work based on the likely impact, the pages affected, the effort required and what else is happening across the website.
That means a significant indexation issue affecting important pages can take priority over dozens of minor technical warnings that are unlikely to change anything meaningful.
I can also use ongoing website performance analysis to identify areas where rankings, visibility or traffic have changed and feed those findings back into the optimisation work.
Audit & Optimisation includes the measurement and monitoring covered by the lower support packages, so the optimisation work does not happen in isolation.
I can maintain your analytics and tracking, monitor organic performance and keep a Looker Studio dashboard up to date alongside the active improvement work.
That gives us a consistent view of what is changing and helps inform which areas should receive attention next.
You may not need this level of hands-on work every month.
If the site reaches a more stable period, you can move down to Performance Insights for monitoring and recommendations, or Tracking & Reporting when you mainly need the measurement maintained.
If new problems appear or a larger programme of optimisation starts again, you can move back up without starting the relationship from scratch.
The idea is to match the level of support to the amount of active work the website genuinely needs.
Tell me what has already been audited, what has been implemented and where the work has stalled. I can help prioritise the remaining issues and start turning the useful recommendations into actual improvements.
